The first order of business is for us to say Congratulations! Booking entertainment for a milestone in life is both exciting and daunting. Weddings and other Family parties offer a great way to see everyone you care about having a fantastic time. Selecting the right entertainers usually determines the success of the celebration. In the NJ/NY area there are so many talented DJs to choose from, so we thank you for finding your way to Party Host as we prepare to celebrate our 25th year!
PHDJs has remained successful for over two decades by offering unmatched personal service. We designed our booking approach to build our business relationship with confidence and comfort. As a mid-sized entertainment company we offer performer flexibility while maintaining tighter quality control than can ever be achieved with larger Entertainment Groups.
Our stressless 5 step approach...
Step One: Contact Party Host using any method on our Contact page to arrange an in-person Event Consultation. This initial meeting can be face-to-face or by Skype and will last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for a complete introduction to the PHDJs entertainment approach. You will select your prospective entertainer and discuss to your satisfaction the intimate details of your party expectations! You will be shown performance videos and recommendations from clients that have trusted their special day to Party Host. Some clients choose to sign a contract at this consultation; otherwise we hold the party date for 15 days ensuring an educated decision is made. The only way to get to step two is to sign a contract holding the date with a deposit and specifying the services you desire! (Remember – We have been doing this for decades – we even wrote the contract most DJ companies now use…)
Step Two: Now we are ready to begin working together to make your wishes come true. Our online planning forms help guide the preparing of your event itinerary, and give us both a good idea of what traditions and ceremonies are wanted. Party Host will offer suggestions on current trends, cool Multi-Media options, and the many lightscaping services we offer. This step is an ongoing process to allow you to make any necessary changes and will include contact from your Party Host Entertainer to continue building the comfort level that is so important.
Step Three: This is usually another face-to-face consultation approximately 30 days before the celebration that begins to finalize all the various components of your big day. This is when the music selections are reviewed, the planning forms finalized, and the responsibilities of the Party Host Entertainer discussed. The next four weeks will be hectic, so we like to have the majority of the decisions complete. The music itself is usually the last component to be finalized so that current favorites can be included in the celebration.
Step Four: We are now 5 days from the celebration, and the details are complete. We send the completed itinerary and music requests along with a description of any additional services for review. Any final changes will be noted and everyone is now on the same page - confident that a successful celebration is just days away!
Step Five: The anticipation of the actual party is accentuated by the knowledge that everything has been gone over, and that the experience of Party Host DJs will handle quickly and professionally any changes in plans. Now we all enjoy being guests at a celebration we crafted for such a special occasion! Soon you will become another satisfied member of the extended Party Host Family.
